Gurtz provided its value engineering and construction experience to complete the full interior build out of UChicago’s Center for Care and Discovery. Project included 240 private in-patient and intensive care beds, 24 operating rooms, 12 rooms for gastrointestinal and pulmonary procedures, and 7 interventional radiology suites. Building also includes multiple procedure rooms with advanced diagnostic tools including high-resolution high-speed MRI and CT scanners.
