In 2007 Steve Horton was accepted into the IBEW Local 134 apprenticeship program, during which he began working for Gurtz Electric in 2010. At Gurtz Electric Steve has served within the roles of Electrical Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman, General Foreman, Site Superintendent, Project Manager, and currently serves in the role of Vice President. He is recognized as a highly motivated, client-centered, and energetic leader within the electrical construction industry, demonstrating his abilities in the innovation, design, and implementation of modern electrical construction practices.
As Vice President, Steve is responsible for maintaining client relations, forging new client relations, as well as supporting the construction and project management teams in providing clients with an exceptional collaborative experience.
In addition to his experiences working in various capacities at Gurtz Electric, Steve has also obtained his degree in Electrical Construction Management and his General Supervising Electrician License.
Outside of work Steve enjoys taking on fun adventures with his family such as camping, boating, and BMX racing.
