Design Build / BIM

The Gurtz Electric Engineering Group

Single Point of Responsibility

Simplify project management by assigning a single entity accountable for both design and construction phases.

Improved Collaboration

Facilitate better communication and coordination among project stakeholders through a shared digital model of electrical systems.

Faster Project Completion

Expedite timelines by overlapping design and construction activities, reducing overall project duration.

3D Visualization

Create detailed 3D models of electrical systems for enhanced visualization and comprehension.

Clash Detection

Identify and resolve conflicts between electrical systems and other building components preemptively, prior to construction.

Cost Savings

Optimize resources and minimize expenses by integrating design and construction, reducing change orders and enhancing efficiency.

This is how we work

Plan

Gurtz Electric Company has been leading the way in better job management and efficiency by incorporating pull planning into it’s projects. By bringing together everyone as a unified group, delays associated with scope issues or trade scheduling incompatibilities can be addressed earlier, before they create costly problems on a job down the line.

Design

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a service provided by Gurtz Electric which increases job efficiency. By implementing BIM early in the building design and construction process, productivity is increased to save time from the construction schedule.

Build

Gurtz Electric Co. specializes in the procurement, installation, start-up, testing commissioning, operation and maintenance of facility electrical systems. Our union electricians install complete power and lighting systems including conduit and raceways, power cables, wiring, lighting and dimmer,
distribution panels, transformers, generators, uninterruptible power supply, switchgear and related control systems.

BIM creates the most accurate as-built model, which is a useful tool for the construction team as well as the building’s end users and engineering departments.

Owners and developers gain in efficiency at each stage of the building lifecycle, from design to construction and ultimately the end-user, in which the benefits continue to pay-off indefinitely.
