Pat Thornton has more than 47 years of experience in the electrical construction industry, with 39 of those years at Gurtz Electric Company. He finished 8th as Electrical Apprentice of the Year in the World Work Skills Olympics which was held in Linz, Austria in 1983.
Pat is responsible for the firm’s pursuit of new projects, and the response to requests for proposals and bids. He coordinates the firm’s estimating efforts including preliminary budgeting, value engineering and preconstruction services.
Pat has also worked as an electrical Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, General Superintendent, Estimator, Quality Control Manager, Project Manager, and Project Executive.
Pat has served for the past few years as an executive committee member at the American Heart Association Go Red For Women organization.
